1. The website

The public Shft website is designed to work without placing non-essential cookies on your device. The hosting provider may process ordinary request logs for delivery, reliability, and security. The website also requests fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares standard network information such as your IP address and user agent.

2. App storage

The Shft app uses local device storage rather than advertising cookies. This storage is necessary to remember app state and may include plans, exercises, completed sessions, settings, an installation identifier, and sign-in session information. Signed-in users may also sync supported data to the cloud.

In a browser-based version of the app, authentication providers may use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in and protect the session. This storage is used to provide the feature you request, not to build an advertising profile.

3. Third parties

If you choose a third-party sign-in method, open an external link, or obtain Shft through an app store, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Shft does not control storage set on third-party websites.

4. Your controls

You can clear website data through your browser settings and clear app data through your device settings. Clearing essential app storage can sign you out and remove workout data that exists only on that device. Sync or export important records first where those features are available.

If Shft later adds optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before they are enabled where consent is required.
